Hotel Transfer service – Booking Cutoff 9 hours before departure

Please note any bookings made after 9pm the night before tour departure, do not include transport to our marina. These guests are required to arrive at our office at least 30 minutes before tour departure time. We provide a complimentary return to your accommodation provided it is within the free transfer zone as indicated in the below paragraph. Locations outside of this zone incur a 500 Baht charge.

Hotel Transfers Charges (Not applicable for Private Charters)

If your pickup location is outside the complimentary mini-van route of Kata, Karon and Patong, Kamala, Surin, Bangtao we need to hire a private car to make the return transfer. Please check this link to view a map of the free transfer zone.

The cost for car is 500 THB baht each way (per car – not per person) and we will organise this for you. For locations outside of Phuket higher charges apply and we will advise you soon after receiving your booking.

This can be paid on the day of your trip when you pay the balance of the tour costs.

We will advise an exact pick-up time the day before the tour.

Cancellation Policy : Please Read

By advancing your deposit to Simba Sea trips, you therefore agree to be bound by the below terms and conditions.

Cancellations within 24 hours of the trip, or a no show (inc missed departure when using own transport) will result in 100% of the total cost being charged. This means you would not only lose the deposit you would be required to pay the balance stated on the confirmation email. Note – if Simba is able to re-book your seats to other customers you will be provided a full refund ASAP.

In the case of sickness we will make every effort to move you to an alternative date however the cancellation policy still stands. As we limit the number of guests on each trip, we do get fully booked and a reschedule may not be possible. A refund will be applicable should we be able to re-book your seats to other customers.

If Simba cancel a trip and can not reschedule during your time in Phuket we will refund 100% of all deposits immediately. Minimum passenger numbers apply on certain tours and Simba reserves the right to cancel the tour and provide a full refund or change dates, or tour type at the customer’s discretion.

Insurance Policy: Please Read

Insurance is included in your tour package (for ages 3 months -75 years only) and covers the time from which you are collected from your hotel/resort through to your drop-off at your hotel/resort in the evening. Insurance cover is void if you do not provide the correct age of each member of the booking party and passport number.

Back injuries, pregnancy or any other pre-existing medical conditions are not covered by any of our insurance policies and we strongly recommend clients do not take part in any of our speed-boat tours.

Simba Sea Trips Co Ltd., or Asia Travel Experience International Ltd shall not be held liable in any way for incidents on tour relating to any pre-existing medical conditions.

The insurance cover provided by Simba is limited in nature and may not extend beyond a reasonable level of base treatment and hospital care. For any foreseeable injuries that might occur on tour the coverage is adequate.

No personal belongings such as cameras and phones are covered by our insurance in the event of loss or damage (NO EXCEPTIONS).

Note that any action Simba may take with respect to (1) assisting with organisation of medical assistance or (2) allowing claims to be made under Simba’s customer insurance policy, is conducted on a ‘no liability’ basis.

Other Charges

Prices are inclusive of Thailand VAT taxes of 7% however Simba charges a 2% booking processing fee (applies to total tour cost) to offset credit card / Paypal charges or nearly 4%. This is refundable in full if the balance payment is made in cash (baht).
